This course is designed for new and developing shooters who want to build a strong foundation in pistol skills. Whether you're just starting or looking to improve your accuracy, speed, and confidence, this class covers the core fundamentals every handgun owner should master.

Firearms safety and range etiquette
Pistol mechanics and operation Grip, stance, and sight alignment Trigger control and follow-through Reloading techniques and malfunction drills Intro to drawing from a holster.

Course Goal:
By the end of this course, students will leave with the confidence and skills to handle their pistol safely and effectively, with a clear path to further skill development.
Gear List:
*Handgun - A reliable semi-automatic pistol (commonly 9mm)
*Holster - Quality KYDEX OWB (outside-the-waistband) or IWB (inside-the-waistband) holster. No Vanguard or SEPRA style holsters
*Magazine Pouches - At least one or two mag pouches for quick reloads
*Magazines - Minimum of 3 magazines (more is better for less reloading time)
*Ammunition - Factory-made ammo (round count is class specific)
Safety Gear:
*Eye Protection - ANSI-rated shooting glasses (clear and/or tinted)
*Ear Protection - Over-ear muffs or in-ear plugs (electronic muffs are ideal for hearing commands) Support Gear
